5th international seminar ''Radioactive Waste Products (RADWAP '08)''

The 5th International Radioactive Waste Products Seminar 2008 (RADWAP '08) was held in Wuerzburg, Germany on October 27 - 31, 2008. This series of events has been prepared scientifically and organized since 1985 jointly by the Juelich Research Center and the Federal Office for Radiation Protection with close collaboration of the European Network of Testing Facilities for Quality Checking of Radioactive Waste Packages (EN-TRAP) together with the Commission of the European Union. The meeting was attended by roughly 120 participants. The special focus of the international seminar was on waste characterization, waste forms / waste form studies, activity measurements, and non-destructive and destructive measurement methods and techniques. The Proceedings will be published in the report series of the Juelich Research Center. (orig.)
