Superconducting properties of LaMo6S8 thin films

Description
Measurements of the critical temperature, the upper critical fields, and the critical currents of lanthanum molybdenum sulfide thin films have been performed. The values of the pinning force per unit length have been calculated from the critical current data. The dependence of the pinning force on the external magnetic field and the temperature can be described by the scaling law. There exist two distinct regions, in which the pinning forces follow the scaling law (4.5 to 5.3 K and 5.8 to 6.2 K). Pinning in the investigated LaMo6S8 seems to be due to dilute dislocations
