Information about influence of the Bohunice V2 NPP on the environment, May 2010

Description

In this paper results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the Vah River as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V2 NPP are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within May 2010 were: 0.380 MBq of aerosoles, 0.024 MBq of iodine-131, and 0.618 TBq of rare gases. For the period January - May 2010 these radioactive effluents into atmosphere represented 2,441 MBq (0.00305% of annually limit (AL)) of aerosoles, 0.107 MBq (0.00017% MBq of AL) of iodine-131, and 2.156 TBq (0.108% of AL) of rare gases. The radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River within May 2010 were: 3.45892 TBq of tritium, and 0.60 MBq of corrosive and fission products. For the period January - May 2010 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represented 5.21670 TBq (26,0835% of AL) of tritium; 0.60 MBq (0.033% of AL) of corrosive and fission products. Dose equivalents rate for the villages in surroundings of the Mochovce NPP in May 2010 are published. Chemical effluents are also reported.
