Mechanisms of tumorotrophism of radiopharmaceuticals
Description
Different experimental data on tumorotropism of the labelled compounds (67Ga, 131I etc.), used for early diagnostics of malignant neoplasms, are discussed in the review. A comparison of this method of diagnostics with one of the most advanced tendencies in oncology-immunoscintigraphy with application of monoclonal antibodies is being conducted. It is shown, that the possibilities of this method do not exceed those of the conventional scintigraphy with 67Ga
