Growth of GdBa2Cu3O7 thin films on single crystalline substrates of Y1-xPrxBa2Cu3O7

Description
Superconducting GdBa2Cu3O7 thin films were grown by dc magnetron sputtering on Y1-xPrxBa2Cu3O7 superconducting bulk single crystals. We optimized the in plane lattice matching with the Pr concentration. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction and electrical transport experiments. Magnetization hysteresis loops show high values of the critical currents for the films
