Description
The study of element distribution in basic magmatites is actually important, esp. in connection with the crust formation and development of the continental and oceanic region taking into account the plate tectonic and metallogenetic aspects. The distribution of rare earth elements as well as of the elements thorium and uranium plays a leading role. Some results are yielded applying the mentioned analytical procedures. Geochemical evidence for the magmagenetic and structural position and classification of basic magmatites and some regional comparisons are given. (author)
