Features of ultrasonic control for articles made of hard alloys produced by the powder metallurgy method
Description
The method of ultrasonic is used to check the quality of the articles made of the TN type alloy produced by the powder metallurgy method. Peculiarities of ultrasonic control are studied when defects of several types (pores, shells, cracks) together and separately as well as the sites with the changed density are present within the billet body. Application of the method in question makes it possible to improve technology of producing large size articles from hard alloys, to perfect their quality and to achieve a considerable saving of powder materials
