Description

This project deals with the replacement of the analog radiation monitoring system (RMS) at Pacific Gas and Electric's (PG ampersand E's) Diablo Canyo Power Plant (DCPP) Units 1 and 2. Various engineering management techniques have been used to determine the distributed architecture design to be used, how extensive use of existing multiconductor cables could be accomplished, how to minimize the impact on scheduled plant outage(s), how to maximize the nonoutage work scope, and how to minimize the client's impact on the RMS vendor despite yearly budget, construction, and installation constraints
