Automatic monitoring of radon daughter concentration in soil air by electrode collector
Description
A new radon monitor with a negatively charged electrode collector for radon daughters and a GM tube counter are presented. The collecting electrode moves from the sampling position to the GM counter and the entire operations including counting and printing are automated. The apparatus has been used to measure radon levels over groundwater. The system can also be used for indoor radon measurement
