Numerical simulation of bootstrap current

  • 1. Princeton Univ., NJ (United States)

Description

The neoclassical theory of Bootstrap Current is confirmed by numerical simulation. The effects of ripple, loop voltage, magnetic and electrostatic perturbations on bootstrap current for the cases of zero and finite β are studied. The numerical results reasonably agree with the analytic estimation
