Description

We have investigated the magnetic phase diagram of the geometrically quadrupolar frustrated system DyB4 by means of specific heat and magnetization measurements. A field-induced ordered phase (called phase V here) has been discovered under the magnetic field applied along the [001] direction. The results of specific heat measurements suggest that phase V may be a quadrupolar ordered phase
