Limits set by analyticity and current algebra on the existance of a heavy nucleon

In this paper, the authors estimate through the analysis of dispersion relations and current algebra sum rules that the experimentally searched excited state of nucleon with mass below pion-nucleon threshold must have a coupling one order of magnitude smaller than the normal pion- nucleon one gπNN2 as an upper bound
