Description
Methods of differential thermal, X-ray phase, microstructural analyses and measurement of microhardness were used to study the character of physico-chemical interaction in the Co-Sn-Te ternary system. It is stated to be divided into 6 subordinate triangles by means of quasibinary cross sections: SnTe-Co3Sn2, SnTe-Co, SnTe-Co3Te4 and SnTe-Co. The liquidus of the system comprises 10 fields of primary phase crystallizaion. Existence of 9 nonvariant points, 6 eutectical and three peritectical ones is determined
