Production of short-lived isotopes by charged particle accelerators
Description
The author replies to the criticism of Phelps and Wieland (see ibid., vol. 18, no. 2, 284) and reports that there was no intention in their note to claim that Van de Graaff accelerators are as good as cyclotrons for production of 11C, 13N, 15O and 18F for all possible applications, but rather that this is true for many applications.
