Average ionization energies of gas mixtures for X-rays
Description
A simple method to evaluate the average ionization energy (W) of a gas mixture for X-rays is presented. One earlier reference W value is needed for the evaluation. Results are given for several Penning mixtures of neon and argon. (orig.)
