Description
Magnetic and crystalline properties of rare earth silicides CdMnxCO1 as well as RMnSi and RCoSi (R = La, Ce) are studied. It is found that the CeCoSi compound at the temperature of T > 78 K is a Curie-Weiss paramagnetic with magnetic susceptibility practically independent of the temperature above 100 K. Increase in cobalt content in the ferromagnetic system GdMnxCo1-xSi (x = 0, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1) leads to abrupt decrease in the compound magnetic moment and reduction of the Curie temperature Tc. 17 refs.; 4 figs
