Recent developments in prompt nuclear analysis
Creators
- 1. Australian Atomic Energy Commission Research Establishment, Lucas Heights
Description
The technique of ion backscattering is extensively used for the study of materials surfaces but the applications of nuclear reactions for analysis are still being expanded. Development since 1976 includes greater use of heavy ion beams, the provision of data needed in the use of gamma-ray producing reactions, and the development of methods for studying CTR walls and biological materials
