Current-carrying of YBa2Cu3O7-δ superconducting films in strong magnetic fields
Description
The properties of polycrystalline YBa2Cu3O7-δ films in strong magnetic fields H≤40 kOe are investigated. It is shown that for H≤0.3 Hc2(T) the current-carrying capacity of the films is determined by the bulk force of vortex pinning which involves the trapping of the vortexes by the boundaries of the randomly directed crystallites. In the region H>0.3 Hc2(T) the pinning force restricts the limit of shear deformation of the vortex lattice
