Description

In this experiment absolute cross sections for single and multielectron processes in slow collisions, Aq++B→Ar++Bs++(r+s-q)e-, have been measured. By means of a coincidence time-of-flight technique, the charge state of the projectile before and after the collision and the charge state of the target after the collision are determined. The experimental technique is discussed together with simple models for absolute cross sections. (orig.)
