Description

This paper examines problems of two and three interacting particles within the context of Poincare invariant direct interaction. Hamiltonian dynamics. The relationship between the dynamics and the requirement of Lorentz invariance is discussed within the context of the instant form of the Poincare generators. An overview is given of front form dynamics, with an application to three-body scattering. The implications of direct interactions are compared to those of covariant approaches based upon field theory
