Description
Hard X-ray microbeam (microprobe) of a synchrotron radiation facility has become a mainstream technique in a number of scientific disciplines. Various micro-focusing methods of the hard X-rays and applications of the hard X-ray microbeam are reviewed in the paper. The focusing principle, advantages and disadvantages, and development of the methods are discussed. (authors)
