Simultaneous preparation of carrier-free 48Cr, 45Ti and Sc isotopes from cyclotron-irradiated vanadium targets
Description
48Cr is produced by the 51V(p,4n)48Cr reaction in a natural abundance vanadium target. Simultaneously, scandium and titanium radionuclides are formed. A method of separation is proposed that allows a carrier-free recovery of the mentioned isotopes. (author)
