The French AEC nuclear microprobe: Description and first application examples

Description
The major components of the microprobe are briefly described. The performance and the various possibilities of the instrument are given. Two applications, the determination of concentration profiles in an aqueous leached glass and the distribution of deuterium in a graphite sample exposed to plasma in a Tokamak device, are presented.
