Investigation into physical properties of specimens of La2Se3-PbSe system

Description
Temperature dependences of electric conductivity and thermoelectromotive force La2PbSe4, La2Pb4Se7 and (La2Se3)x(PbSe)1-x (x=0.02, 0.03) in the wide temperature range are investigated. It is established that ternary compounds La2PbSe4, La2Pb4Se7 are semiconductors of p-type with the energy gap 1.26 and 0.88 eV, correspondingly. Solid solutions (La2Se3)x(PbSe)1-x are also semiconductors with donor and acceptor levels, which position in the energy gap doesn't depend on the composition
