Standard enthalpies of formation of member oxides in the Y-Ba-Cu-O system
- 1. Dept. of Industrial Chemistry, Science Univ. of Tokyo, Chiba (Japan)
Description
The standard enthalpies of formation for member oxides in the Y-Ba-Cu-O system have been determined by the solution calorimetric method. The standard enthalpies of formation in units of kJ (mol of atoms)-1, ΔfH*, were calculated and represented on a ternary phase diagram. It was found that the heat of reaction ΔHR (kJ mol) for the complex oxide formation from three component simple oxides, YO1.5, BaO and CuO, is negative except for (123), (210) and (202). (orig.)
