Performance and safety of nuclear power plants largely depends on the actions of plant operator who is inundated with a large amount of data and is under pressure to make decisions in a short span of time. Operator Adviser Expert Systems are knowledge-based intelligent systems designed to assist the plant operator by providing information and operational advice in crisp and effective manner.
