Equipment complex for the preparation to the processing of spent nuclear fuel from fast breeder reactors
Description
This report describes an equipment complex intended for the following operations: thermal decladding of spent fuel from fast breeder reactors having sheaths made of stainless steel and oxide nuclear fuel; voloxidation of oxide fuel being in mixture with separate granules of the sheath material after thermal decladding; separation of nuclear fuel from sheath materials; conversion of volatile fission products into a stable form; and radioactive noble gas collection
