The pressure and temperature dependence of the electric field gradient in non-cubic metals

Description
The electric field gradient (efg) in non-cubic metals is considered to arise from two sources: the positive ionic cores (qsub(latt)) and the non-uniform charge density of conduction electrons (qsub(el)). These efg's are considered to contain the Sternheimer factors. The dependence of the efg on lattice parameters and temperature is discussed in this paper. (Auth.)
