New Scheme for Precision Mass Measurements of Rare Isotopes Produced at RI Beam Factory

Description
For precision mass measurements of short-lived rare isotopes, a new experimental apparatus, named '' Rare-RI Ring '', has recently been proposed. A unique possibility of the project is discussed, comparing with other experimental techniques. The current status is presented. (author)
