Description
We have now for the first time succeeded to determine absolute cross sections for electron capture into the quasi-degenerated 4l states of He2+ on atomic and molecular hydrogen. The cross sections have been deduced from emission profile measurements along the beam axis. Measurements have been performed in the energy ranges of 2--13 keV/amu and 50--125 keV/amu
