Zr-Nb alloys for the elements of the active zones of water-containing reactors under pressure
Description
Basic characteristics are presented for niobium-bearing zirconium alloys (Eh110, Eh110K, Eh635) used for manufacturing pressurized water reactor fuel cans. It is shown that high corrosion and radiation stability of zirconium alloy articles is provided by chemical composition, structure and phase composition of the alloys. Designed in Russia Zr-Nb alloys ensure reliable operation of fuel elements and fuel assemblies in reactors in service today and offer the basis for their new modifications

Представлены основные характеристики ниобийсодержащих циркониевых сплавов (Э110, Э110К, Э635), используемых для изготовления оболочек твэлов реакторов с водой под давлением. Показано, что высокая коррозионная и радиационная стабильность циркониевых изделий обеспечивается химическим составом, структурой и фазовым составом сплавов. Разработанные в России Zr-Nb-сплавы обеспечили надежную работу твэлов и ТВС в действующих реакторах и явились базовой основой их новых модификацийAdditional details
