Description

North Sichuan is one of the important metallogenic region of sandstone-hosted uranium deposits in south China. Base on the study of the regional geologic setting and typical deposits, we summarized the regional metallogenic rules and predictive factors in this paper. According to the predictive factors we constructed predictive variables and delineated 18 forecasting areas by characteristic analysis, which provides a scientific basis for the general deploy of geological prospecting work of sandstone-hosted uranium deposits.
