New data on K-Ar age of ultrabasic-alkali carbonatite massifs of the Maimecha-Kotui province and some problems of their formation

Description

K-Ar age of phlogopite samples from different rocks of five ultrabasic-alkali carbonatite massifs of the Maimecha-Kotui province is determined. It is shown that time of formation of some massifs in the orovince corresponds approximately to the middle of late Permian. A two-stage scheme of generating alkali-ultrabasic intrusions of Maimecha-Kotui separated by 20-40 mln years is stated
