Crystal structures of T(T', X)3 and T(T', X)2 ternary compounds (T Ti, Zr; T' = Au, Pt, Pd; X = Al, Ga)

Description

Ten new ternary titanium and zirconium based compounds have been synthesized by arc-melting of the elements. The crystal structure of the investigated intermetallics, determined by X-ray powder diffraction, has been related to the AuCu3 and MgCu2 structure types, respectively
