Description

An introduction to renormalization theory is presented. The expression of the Gell-Mann-Low formula as a functional integral is discussed, and Euclidean field theory is considered. Both non-perturbative and perturbative renormalization theories are dealt with and gauge theories and non-renormalizable theories are briefly mentioned. (P.J.S.)
