New axiomatic finite-energy upper bounds on scattering amplitudes
- 1. Institute of Nuclear Research, Ukrainian Academy of Sciences
Description
It is demonstrated how, in the framework of axiomatic quantum field theory, on the basis of inequalities established by the methods of the theory of harmonic functions, it is possible to obtain not only asymptotic bounds but also finite-energy bounds on scattering amplitudes. These bounds have the virtue that they are suitable for a completely reliable experimental verification of the principles of modern quantum field theory
