Information about influence of the Mochovce NPP on the environment, August 2014

In this paper results of radiation monitoring of Mochovce NPP Units 1 and 2 are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within August 2014 were: 0.232 MBq of aerosols, 0.051 MBq of iodine-131, 0.111 TBq of rare gases, 1123 GBq of Tritium and 0.511 MBq of other radionuclides. For the period January - August 2014 these radioactive effluents into atmosphere represented 3.537 MBq of aerosols (0.00208% of annually limit), 0.343 MBq of iodine-131 (0.000512% of annually limit), 0.857 TBq of rare gases (0.0209% of annually limit), 6572 GBq of Tritium (54.77% of annually limit), 4.567 MBq of other radionuclides (0.415% of annually limit). Dose equivalent rates for the villages in surroundings of the Mochovce NPP in August 2014 are published. No limits set up by regulatory bodies were exceeded.
