Plastic phoswich detector used for light charged particle identification

Description
The phoswich consisting of a 1 mm fast plastic scintillator and a 40 mm slow plastic scintillator and the energy range of particle detected was reported. Elemental identification and isotopic identification of H were achieved by exploiting ΔE-E techniques. Isotopic identification of Z≥2 will be tested by using TOF-E(ΔE)methods in the next experiment
