Forecasting of increase of vanadium isolation degree on the basis of chemical modelling of phase composition of initial raw material
Description
A method for predicting increase in the degree of vanadium extraction on the basis of chemical modelling of phase composition of the initial source material was developed. The model was tested, using 6 types of wastes of thermal power plants annealed with calcium-containing additions by way of example. Depending on the ratio of phase-forming oxides in the wastes and in the amount of CaCO3 introduced during oxidizing annealing, the equilibrium phase composition and, accordingly, degree of vanadium extraction to sulfuric acid solution according to pyrohydrometallurgical scheme change, as well
