Description
The water of the Ruhr, which is infiltrated for ground water recharge to be finally consumed as drinking water, contains synthetic and under normal environmental conditions not degradable compounds EDTA in high concentrations. The tolerated value set by the AWWR at 10 μg/l is often exceeded. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Im Ruhrwasser, das durch kuenstliche Grundwasseranreicherung zu Trinkwasser aufbereitet wird, tritt der synthetische und unter Umweltbedingungen nicht abbaubare starke Komplexbildner EDTA in erhoehten Konzentrationen auf. Der Zielwert der AWWR fuer Ruhrwasser von 10 μg/l wird haeufig ueberschritten. (orig.)Additional details
