Electro-hypersensitivity: prevalence and media coverage simultaneous decay at Taiwan

Description

Two surveys applying the same protocol to assess the prevalence of electro-hypersensitivity in the population of Taiwan found that in 2012 it had dropped to nearly one third of its level in 2007. This trend moves in the opposite direction of the extension and use of mobile telephony, but is consistent with the decrease in the number of alarming press articles. The latter decrease is a plausible explanation for the authors' findings. (authors)
