A probabilistic model for time-dependent transfer problems in spherical shell media
Description
A probabilistic model for solving time-dependent transfer problems in inhomogeneous, isotropic scattering, spherical shell media is proposed. Four probability functions are defined and an integro-differential equation for scattering function is deduced. Expressions for the emergent intensities in terms of scattering, transmission, back scattering and back transmission functions are derived.
