Determination of fluoride in water samples by ion selective electrode method - a modified procedure with special application to water samples from east and west Khasi hill areas of Meghalaya
- 1. Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research, Department of Atomic Energy, North Eastern Region, Shillong (India)
Description
A simple and modified ion selective electrode (ISE) method is described for the determination of fluoride in water samples including phosphate rich solutions, as a public health measure. The proposed method is cost effective utilizing a commonly available reagent as against the imported one as recommended in the reported procedure coupled with an additional advantage of specific application to phosphate rich solutions
