The strong fine interactions and kinetic energy correction in baryons
Description
The kinetic energy correction to upsilon2/c2 and the momentum dependent but spin independent strong fine interactions in the Breit-Fermi formula are calculated within the framework of the quark shell model of baryons. Related problems, such as mixing among levels and the like order (in upsilon2/c2) terms in perturbative calculations of charge radii, gsub(A)/gsub(V) and magnetic moments, are discussed. (orig.)
