Description
Electron stripping cross sections of ions Cq+ and Neq+ (q=1-5) by collisions with target atom H are calculated using the binary encounter approximation. Electron velocity distribution in ion is obtained by the Thomas-Fermi statistical model. The velocity distribution of electron in the H target is given by wave function of H. Electrons stripping cross sections of ions by collisions of ion, electrons with nucleus and electron of target are calculated respectively, and their value are compared. Finally the comparison of calculated value with experimental data are made
