Description
36K was produced via the 36Ar(p, n)36K reaction. Measurement of 27 β+ delayed γ rays associated with the decay of 36K implied 10 new β+ branches to energy levels in 36Ar. Branching ratios and logft values are calculated for the β+ branches. Restrictions on spin and parity assignments for the 36Ar levels are given, as well as branching ratios for γ transitions from these levels. The half-life of 36K is determined to be 344 +- 3 msec
