The arguments are centred on questions of prosperity, effect on business profits, employment and competitive aspects as well as the threat to the economic recovery in the former East Germany. These assertions are examined on their truthfulness and relevance in the light of present research and knowledge. Furthermore, a worked example is given with advice on sources and tips on environmental management. (DG)

Die Behauptungen werden auf ihren Wahrheitsgehalt anhand vorliegender Forschungen und Erkenntnisse ueberprueft.
