Excitation of 5S, 5P, and 5D levels of the iron atom by slow electrons
Description
The extended intersecting beam/optical spectroscopy method is used to study excitation of 5S, 5P, and 5D levels of the iron atom by slow electrons. Eighty-five excitation cross sections have been measured for an energy of the exciting electrons equal to 50 eV. Ten optical excitation functions were recorded in the electron energy range 0-200 eV.
