Information about influence of the Mochovce NPP on the environment, December 2013

In this paper results of radiation monitoring of Mochovce NPP Units 1 and 2 are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within December 2013 were: 0.177 MBq of aerosols, 0.0152 MBq of iodine-131, 0.105 TBq of rare gases, 1403 GBq of Tritium and 2.37 MBq of other radionuclides. For the period January - December 2013 these radioactive effluents into atmosphere represented 9.447 MBq of aerosols (0.0056% of annually limit), 0.3252 MBq of iodine-131 (0.0005% of annually limit), 1.619 TBq of rare gases (0.0395% of annually limit), 11870 GBq of Tritium (98.92% of annually limit), 15.96 MBq of other radionuclides (1.451% of annually limit). Dose equivalent rates for the villages in surroundings of the Mochovce NPP in September 2013 are published. No limits set up by regulatory bodies were exceeded.
