The annual report provides information on the data and facts, clients and the broad-based activities of the Oeko-Institut. Among others, the following selected projects are briefly presented in this report: Rohstoffwende 2049 (A roadmap for Germany); For an accepted restructuring (transformation of the energy system); Appropriate participation (participation in the environment of nuclear facilities); 80 percent less energy (climate protection for buildings); Climate-friendly transport (The research project Renewbility); Cadmium in TV screens (exemption applications under the RoHS Directive); A new pillar (climate protection in agriculture and forestry); Safety: insufficient (Beznau and Fessenheim nuclear power plants); Rethinking consumption (strategies against obsolescence); The technologized plant (breeding between patent and plant variety protection).
